I am a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges, strengthen their mental health, and create meaningful, lasting change. She believes therapy should be a safe, supportive, and welcoming space where clients feel heard, valued, and accepted without judgment.

Shemeka understands that reaching out for support can be difficult. She meets each client where they are with compassion, empathy, and respect, creating an environment where they can feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and emotions openly. Whether navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, stress, life transitions, or feelings of being overwhelmed, Shemeka believes no one should have to face these challenges alone.

Her approach to counseling is collaborative and individualized, recognizing that every client brings unique experiences, strengths, needs, and goals to the therapeutic process. She works alongside clients to explore challenges, identify personal strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, and build the skills needed to move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
