Lizzy Shegda

Hi, I’m Lizzy Shegda, and I provide educational consulting and executive functioning coaching at Trusted Results Therapy Group. I spent over a decade teaching in a self-contained behavior support classroom, working with students who had been labeled, misunderstood, or pushed out of traditional school settings. In that time I built and ran individualized behavior plans, coached students with significant emotional and behavioral needs, and sat at the table for well over a hundred IEPs alongside families and school teams. That work is personal for me. I was the student who couldn’t sit still, who pushed back on rules that didn’t make sense, and who spent a lot of time being told what I was doing wrong. What turned it around was people who gave me structure and tools instead of labels. That’s what I try to give the students and families I work with now. I won’t promise to fix your child. I’ll meet them where they are, build on what they’re already good at, and help them develop skills that hold up in a real classroom and after it.
