Megan Tanner LMSW

Hello! My name is Meg and I am an outpatient therapist with Trusted Results Therapy Group. Therapy can be very intimidating and overwhelming, especially for first-timers. I use a client-centered approach that feels organic and natural so clients can relax and focus on healing instead of feeling like they are under a microscope. My goal for each session is to offer the client a soft place to land, while also acting as a launching pad to encourage clients to reach their goals. Together we can unpack traumas from the past, work on ways to cope and heal in the present, and work towards your future of being the happiest and healthiest version of you.

I have experience working in Chicago Public Schools as a school social worker and as a therapist at a South Carolina community mental health center. I’ve seen a broad range of clients over my years and I really enjoy working with individuals with complex trauma histories, mood disorders, and anxiety.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two dogs. I also love to read, travel, hike, and anything crafty.
