Scarlett Cartrette LPC-A

Hi, I’m Scarlett! I’m a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate (LPC-A) with Trusted Results Therapy Group. I earned my bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology from NC State and then completed my Master of Education and Education Specialist degrees in Counselor Education at Clemson University. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, but I’m especially passionate about working with children and adolescents. I’ve found that kids are incredibly genuine and expressive in their emotions, which can be both challenging and deeply rewarding. Even as I continue growing in my experience with this age group, I’m constantly inspired by their ability to share what they feel, often through play or art when words don’t quite fit. My counseling style is person-centered and collaborative, grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect for each client’s unique story. I often integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play-based techniques, and talk therapy to support growth and self-awareness. My goal is to create a genuine, accepting space where clients feel seen, heard, and safe to explore their emotions and experiences at their own pace. I’m eager to help others better understand themselves, find balance, and build stronger, healthier relationships with both themselves and others. Outside of counseling, I love doing Pilates, spending time with family and friends, shopping, getting my nails done, and relaxing at the beach! I’m honored to walk alongside you as you create a life that feels balanced and true to who you are!
