Michelle Price LPC-A
No Current OpeningsI am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for individuals ages 10 and up. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship concerns. I am especially passionate about supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, veterans, and individuals working through complex life experiences.
My approach to therapy is person-centered, meaning I meet each client where they are and tailor treatment to their unique needs and goals. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and build healthier thought patterns. I also incorporate trauma-informed care to ensure clients feel safe, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
Before becoming a counselor, I spent several years as an educator, where I developed a deep appreciation for supporting the social and emotional growth of others. This experience continues to inform my work, particularly with adolescents and young adults. I also bring a unique perspective as a Navy veteran and longtime military spouse, which allows me to connect with and support military members and their families.
My goal is to help clients feel heard, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. I strive to create an inclusive and affirming environment where clients can explore who they are, overcome obstacles, and move toward the life they want to live.
