Caitlin Agneta LISW-CP
Accepting New ClientsHi, I’m Caitlin. I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker – Clinical Practice and a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist for Individuals. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida and have years of experience supporting adolescents and adults with trauma-related concerns. My background includes working with survivors of sex trafficking, sexual exploitation, sexual assault, domestic/interpersonal violence, and childhood abuse. I am passionate about supporting others who have worked in this field who are feeling burnt out or wanting additional support. I have also worked with those facing family conflict, anxiety, depression, grief, and general difficulties with life transitions.
Through this work, I have learned the importance of using the therapeutic relationship as a foundation to make sure clients feel safe and supported. My practice is strengths-based and rooted in trauma-informed care. I have been trained in trauma-informed therapy, narrative exposure therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and I also utilize components of cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, internal family systems, and solution-focused therapy in my sessions. I understand that everyone is different and will require different tools to best support them in their therapy journey.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at the beach, with my family, and with my cat, Sadie. I would be honored to work with you if you feel like we might be a good fit.
