Hi, I’m Barry Robinson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s most complex emotional and social challenges. I bring a deep commitment to creating an authentic, supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to heal and grow.
My approach is shaped by years of working in nonprofit organizations, hospitals, and inpatient psychiatric facilities across more than seven states. This diverse experience has allowed me to effectively support people facing a wide range of issues—including social anxiety, grief, substance use, senior behavioral health, personality disorders, and the stigma and trauma often experienced by members of the LGBTQIA+ community or individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.
Whether providing individual, family, or group therapy, I integrate evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, culturally sensitive practices, and solution-focused strategies. I also bring a strong background in crisis intervention, case management, and educational counseling to support clients in moments of acute need.
