Alexandria Newberry LMSW
Accepting New ClientsMy name is Alexandria, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with experience supporting individuals and families facing instability, trauma, and other major life transitions. Through this work, I have developed a deep appreciation for each person’s unique story, resilience, and capacity for growth.
My approach to therapy is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I view counseling as a collaborative process where we work together to identify goals, build practical coping skills, and create lasting positive change. I strive to provide a comfortable and authentic environment where clients feel respected and encouraged throughout their journey.
I enjoy working with individuals across all ages and stages of life, including children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults. Whether you are navigating anxiety, stress, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, or other personal struggles, I am committed to meeting you where you are and helping you move toward your goals. I am especially passionate about helping clients build confidence, develop healthier patterns, and discover the strengths they already possess.
As a social worker, I recognize that mental health is often influenced by many aspects of our lives, including our relationships, family dynamics, environment, and life experiences. I take a holistic approach to counseling, helping clients understand these connections while developing practical tools for growth and healing.
For clients who desire it, I can also incorporate Christianity and biblical principles into the counseling process. I recognize that personal beliefs can play an important role in healing, growth, and finding purpose, and that does not have to be separate from professional help.
